But will it be a breach of privacy?
The latest betas for WhatsApp has revealed some interesting details in the form of a new feature that will let you locate your friends much like how the Find My Friends app works on the iPhone.
Even if it has not been officially announced by the company, evidence of the feature has shown on people testing the latest builds of the popular messaging app available on iOS and Android platforms.
From a leaked screenshot (shown below), it shows how much time you can reveal to your friends your exact location.
There is still a chance that the feature might be scrapped, but it’s good to know that the feature is disabled by default and you still have control as to when you would want to share your location.
