Available online today and will be available in stores next week.
After delays on what is supposed to be an October release date, Apple’s AirPods are now finally available online and will be available at Apple Stores globally along with authorized resellers.
The wireless AirPods are two earpieces that connect wirelessly to any iOS device. It was originally introduced with the iPhone 7 as an alternative to wired headphones when Apple axed the 3.5 mm audio port in favor of the Lightning connector.
The AirPods brings high-quality audio and long battery life and uses Apple’s own low-power A1 chip that makes the aforementioned features possible. Along with that, once you pair it with an iOS device, it can scan your iCloud account for other device so that you won’t need to pair them one by one.
It also has advanced sensors that knows when the headphones are placed in your ears so that it can pause and play music automatically. Double tapping the AirPods also initiates Siri, where you can say the same commands that you do on your iOS device and Mac.
The AirPods can deliver up to five hours of listening time, but with the included custom-designed charging case, you’re looking at more than 24 hours of battery life.
Apple AirPods can now be ordered for 649 AED. Stay tuned for a full review.
