HP has just announced the ZBook x2 which is the world’s first detachable and most powerful PC workstation. The product was designed with artists and designers in mind with a focus on use of Adobe Creative Cloud and other similar professional tools.

The ZBook x2 features a quad-core Intel Core processor along with Nvidia Quadro graphics that offer about 73 percent better performance than the surface Pro. The GPUs are so powerful that it is able to output two 4K displays or five displays at a lower resolution.

The device also features HP Quick Keys that are fully customizable and can be configured on all 18 shortcuts. The detachable workstation can function both as a normal laptop or in tablet mode that includes what HP says is its most ‘accurate and expressive’ pen that has 4,096 levels of pressure.

All of this is encased in an aluminum magnesium body that weighs less than 2 kilograms.

What’s more, the ZBook x2 can give you up to 10 hours of battery life, matching the current portable tablets but of course, you get more power.

Scheduled to be available in December, the ZBook x2 will retail for 8,435 AED.
