Sony unveiled the new additions to the Xperia line a few days back at IFA 2014, and the XPeria Z3 Dual seems set to continue the great showing of the XPeria these parts.
Sony Mobile have just announced retail prices for the devices in the Middle East. The pricing for the Z3 Dual will be a rather reasonable AED 2999. We'd earlier reported it as AED 3349, that was apparently the MSRP. The Sony Xperia Z3 comes with a 5.2” 1,080 x 1,920 pixels IPS LCD capacitive touch screen with a 424 ppi pixel display density. Equipped with a 2.5 GHz quad-core Krait 400 processor, 3 GB of RAM and a Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 chipset, it comes in 16 GB and 32 GB internal memory variants, which can be expanded by up to 128 GB via microSD card. The Sony Xperia Z3 sports a primary 20.7 MP primary camera and 2.2MP secondary cam. The non-removable Li-Ion 3100 mAh battery, and 152 gm weight apart, one massive announcement was the Z3’s PlayStation 4 remote play feature, which allows users to play PS4 owners on their Z3’s via Wi-Fi without a TV set.
Prices announced for other devices include for the 4.7” Z3 Compact, which will retail at AED 2499; the Z3 tablet LTE will be AED 1999, while and 1699 for the Wifi variant.
While the SmartWatch3 will not be launched in region at this moment, the brand announced that the SmartBand Talk SWR30 will retail at AED799, and the Game Control Mount GCM10 for mounting the PS4 dual shock controller will be AED149.
