Installation creates new Guinness World Record

Panasonic Marketing Middle East & Africa along with its local agent, Al-Futtaim Panatech (a division of Al-Futtaim Group), has partnered with Dubai Festival City in streaming the world’s largest Aqua screen projection at Festival Bay in Dubai Festival City.

This projected image area on the fountain is now a Guinness WorldTM Record, set for the largest projected image area made by a permanent projection facility on December 26th, 2016. The total surface consists of 6 Aqua screens which are approximately 36 meters wide and 13 meters high, creating the world’s largest Aqua Projection screen.

The Aqua Projection screen will showcase multimedia 360-degree shows, bringing together light, water, and fire to dramatic effect using over 70 nos. of top of the line Panasonic PT-DZ21K2E Projectors.

The PT-DZ21K2E is well known for creating the projected image at the Moscow International Festival "Circle of Light". Over 200 projectors including PT-DZ21K2E created a 50,458 sqm image on to a group of Ministry of Defense buildings during the festival in 2015 and 2016.
