Following rumors and leaks, HTC has made the U11+ official. The new smartphone features slimmer build compared to the original U11, and now includes a bigger 6-inch screen that now follows an 18:9 aspect ratio.

Additionally, there’s also a bigger 3930 mAh battery plus an improved Edge Sense that lets you ‘squeeze’ the smartphone to perform certain tasks such as taking images.

Design-wise, HTC has given the U11+ a new translucent black glass that should give it a more premium look and feel. The HTC U11+ will also run Android Oreo out of the box.

Other improvements include a louder HTC BoomSound, IP68 certification and it will even come with HTC’s USonic earbuds that feature active noise cancellation.

You can choose from Translucent Black, Ceramic Black, and Amazing Silver as the main color choices for the HTC U11+. It will be available in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait by mid-December.
