Live streaming has made its way to Facebook and Instagram – and at the moment they’re testing group live stream so your friends can join your broadcast.

The feature is being tested on Instagram, where you will soon be able to start a live broadcast with a friend. “The feature will roll out as a trial to a randomly selected group of people today, and will test for the next few months before officially rolling out,” it said in a statement.

The expanded live streaming feature will be limited to two users, though there is talk at bringing in more users in the future. At the moment, dual live broadcasts have a maximum duration of 60 minutes.

Instagram is free app available for iOS, Android and Windows Phone users. Live streaming support is available for iOS and Android users.
