A man changed his name to ‘iPhone’ so he can win it

What sort of things are you willing to do to get a free smartphone? Apprarently for this Ukraine resident Olexander Turin, it means changing his name to iPhone Sim (Seven). A computer company based in Kiev offered a free iPhone 7 to the first five people who will legally change their name to ‘iPhone 7’.

While that offer may seem outrageous, there were a plethora of customers willing to take the risk – considering that a name change in the country would only set you back around $2 – wherein purchasing a new smartphone (especially the iPhone 7) will set you back at least $800.

But Turin said he won’t be keeping the name for long. After all, you don’t want your children to use the iPhone surname, don’t you?
