1More Quad Driver In-Ear Headphones: Looks better than it sounds

Index

The world's first THX-certified headphones.

When it comes to audio peripherals, 1More isn’t probably the company you’ll first hear about. But as we were approached to do a review of their most recent in-ear headphones I was intrigued since the product looks stylish and luxurious and still costs lesser than the competition.

When it comes to audio peripherals, 1More isn’t probably the company you’ll first hear about. But as we were approached to do a review of their most recent in-ear headphones I was intrigued since the product looks stylish and luxurious and still costs lesser than the competition.

The $199.99 price isn’t cheap, but when you compare it to other high-end headphones then 1More’s headphones hit a good price point.

Design-wise, the 1More headphones does evoke a high quality design even you see the packaging. The gorgeous box that it comes with is enough for you to like this product, and the way all the accessories are presented make it worthy of the price.

Let’s discuss the accessories first: the 1More Quad Driver headphones include a carrying case made of leather along with an airline adapter, a cable clip plus a ¼ adapter and a plethora of silicone and foam tips.

One thing you’d notice when you first see the 1More headphones is the build quality. This pair of headphones is gorgeous, and you can see that immediately on the metallic finish. The quad driver on its name refers to the four drivers included on each earbud that includes three of the balanced armature drivers and one diamond-like dynamic carbon drivers. You can scream overkill but these four drivers actually let the company to fine tune each driver for a better listening experience. In fact, the 1More Quad Driver headphones were claimed to be tuned by a Grammy award-winning sound engineer.

We Say

I think was more impressed by the 1More Quad Driver’s design more than its sound output. But that’s not to say that it’s bad – the 1More Quad Driver still ranks as one of the decent in-ear headphones we’ve tested.
