Let’s check out this super awesome gaming desktop.

Gamers on the PC front normally prefer assembling their own setups especially since there is a plethora of options available. But that won’t stop companies from selling their own customized and branded setups. Such is the case for HP’s Omen lineup – the Omen X in particular, features a futuristic yet minimalist design and is sure to be noticed when you’re showing off your gaming setup.

Looking more like cube placed sideways, the Omen X reminds me of the AllSpark from the Transformers movies, but it features top-of-the-line high end specifications that won’t have trouble playing games in 4K at 60 fps.

Since the Omen X is place in a weird 45 degree angle, you have easy access to various ports at the back. The entire case come in all-black steel shell which also has customizable LED lighting. But with its big size there’s a good chance it will occupy a big part of your desk – unless you have a large table to place it on your desk is going to be pretty cramped.

But the big size and unconventional design make it ideal so hot swap drives and/or change some of the hardware. There’s even a simple switch that ejects the side panel where you can easily access the motherboard and the graphics card.

We Like
  • Plethora of ports
  • Simple yet futuristic design
We hate
  • Big and heavy case
  • Expensive
We Say

Even with the huge built and somewhat expensive price, the HP Omen X is one powerful gaming desktop that should keep gamers happy.
