Let’s check out the company’s latest flagship.

Undoubtedly Huawei’s best smartphone yet, the P10 Plus defines everything that the company has working on having since it entered the world of smartphones.

It won’t win awards for its design, but it’s sticking to what it knows best. The matte black color scheme gives the smartphone a certain touch of elegance. It’s thin and light was well, which makes it easier to hold even only with one hand.

Buttons are minimal, with only the power switch and the volume rockers located on the right side. There’s still a headphone jack, and USB-C is now the default port for charging and data transfers. A certain change from its predecessor is the fingerprint sensor, which has been moved from the back and is now at the front, which I actually prefer.

The Huawei P10 Plus sports a 5.5-unch quad HD screen with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. The LCD IPS-NEO does the job well, not as saturated as the AMOLED screen of the Galaxy S8, but it’s still good. The display is customizable, meaning that you can tweak the colors on the cooler or warmer side depending on your preference.

But one main problem we had with the Huawei P10 Plus is the lack of oleophobic coating on the display. That coating is present on most smartphones, and is the main thing that makes the display less prone to smudges and fingerprints. It also the reason why your finger easily glides through the screen.

The Huawei P10 Plus comes with a screen protector already placed in, and for good reason. If you take it out then you are at risk of getting more fingerprints on it, thanks to the lack of the mentioned oleophobic coating.

We Like
  • Great build quality
  • Fast performance
  • Excellent camera
We hate
  • Screen is prone to smudges due to lack of oleophobic coating
We Say

The Huawei P10 Plus is undoubtedly the company’s best smartphone to date. Despite some flaws, it stands as one of the best Android smartphones available.
