Hong Kong Electronics Fair: Day 1

Its billed, quite rightly as the world's biggest electronics event. T3 Middle East is at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair this year, and over the next few days expect to see many a gadget that will take its rightful place in the Hall Of Fame. And a few products that veer to the other extreme. A cursory glance, and you realize this is near heaven for Apple fanatics, by the way. Even before ettling down, T3-MiddleEast caught glimpse of a few fun products.

1. Idapt

We might be slowly moving towards generic chargers for our mobile devices,
but till that one world-one plug day dawns, the Idapt should do.
The base of this device boasts 3 removable charging tips,
and the device which retails at $60 comes with a total of 6 tips, the iPad and MicroUSB included. One dock solution indeed.

2.  Efergy

Very interesting offering, this consists of two parts a point attached to your main line
that transmits info via Bluetooth to a led display on what your homes energy consumption is,
what its costing you, how you’ve been doing over the past few days.
You also have an iPad app that analyses your consumption trends, and whether you’ve learnt anything from it all.

3.

Magic Box

Alright, so Kate Perry’s not every mans cup of tea, but admit it, these outdoor, USB-chargeable, portable speakers are pretty cool. And that retro gramophone looking iPod dock is pretty. And awesome.

4.

Breo Head massager

Who wouldn’t love having a head message when you want it, no emotional blackmail involved? We tried the device, and though images of a nerve or two cracking flew past when the machine twisted and turned on the scalp, admittedly you did feel better post the experience.
