Leaked images of iPhone 5 cases appear online

On the eve of the Apple iPhone 5 launch, new images of the next-gen smartphone’s cases are published online, further confirming a longer, slimmer, form factor.

Know Your Mobile, mobile phone tech site, received images of cases for the upcoming Apple iPhone. The cases are described as genuine leather pouches for the iPhone 5 and visibly illustrate the increase in size of the new phone.

For size comparison, the cases are positioned next to an iPhone 4S shell.

This is more proof that the iPhone 5 will sport a larger screen in order to compete with the flood of smartphones coming out with a range of screen sizes all the way up to the 4.7- and 4.8-inch HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S3.

The majority of the rumors suggest the new iPhone will feature a 4.7-inch screen. Tim Cook will be taking the stage on Wednesday September 12^th for the official reveal.
