Nokia Lumia 900 specs leak, has new Windows Tango

With the Lumia 800 literally just out talk has already begun about the next Nokia installment and more interestingly Windows Phone Tango...

Nokia Lumia 900 specs could well be here and with us, or at least that's if the leak from Boy Genius is to be believed, with both a larger processor and Windows Phone 7 Tango all included in the list.

The rumour confirms previous predictions that the Lumia 900 would be the flagship phone of Nokia levelling above the Lumia 800 with specs listing a 1.4GHz processor, 4.3-inch Clear Black AMOLED screen and also the as yet, unreleased version of Windows Phone 7, Tango.

This comes just a short while after a Nokia advert appeared showcasing the NFC tech found in Nokia Windows Phone's but also heralding the possible Nokia Lumia 900 launch that so many have been predicting for next year.

The trailer shows what appears to be a as yet completely unannounced handset with what could be a larger screen of around 4.3 inches and a completely new form-factor, in a twist of events the video has now been removed.

Add to that the fact that a brand new Nokia device called the Nokia Champagne appeared last week via the app 'I'm a WP7' which lists Windows Phone 7 users and developers. It's listed as running Windows Phone Tango, the next installment of the Windows Phone operating system.

All of this considered the only solid information we have regarding the device surprisingly has come from someone within Nokia thanks to Nokia France's boss Paul Amsellem not only confirming there would be a higher-end Nokia smartphone but also a Nokia tablet running Windows 8.

This is the first solid evidence of a new handset after reports mistakenly claimed the Lumia 900 had already been spotted at Nokia's 'Nokia products that changed the world' exhibition at the Design Museum. However Nokia has since confirmed that this device was not a new product but the Nokia Lumia 800 presumably leaving speculators back at square one.
