With the Windows 10 Autumn/Fall Creators Update arriving this fall, you’re set to get a plethora of new features – though you’ll also about to lose some. We can now confirm that Microsoft Paint – one of Windows’ oldest running program, will be placed on the chopping block.

Windows Paint was originally released in 1985 with the first version of Windows and has went to be updated in various stages as each Windows version was released.

The first Creators Update released last April brought Paint 3D that basically enhances all the tools that you normally get with the normal Paint program.

So if you’re planning to get the Windows 10 Autumn/Fall Creators Update, make the most out of Paint because its time has come.

The update will also remove other programs such as Outlook Express, Reader app and Reading list.

RIP Microsoft Paint (1985 – 2017), you will be missed.
