At IFA 2017, Western Digital showcased its 400GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card, the world’s highest-capacity microSD card. This is a rather big step, as it doubles the then-record-breaking 200GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC card the brand announced a mere 2 years back.

At IFA 2017, Western Digital showcased its 400GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card, the world’s highest-capacity microSD card. This is a rather big step, as it doubles the then-record-breaking 200GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC card the brand announced a mere 2 years back.

To give you an idea of what 400GB entails, the card can hold up to 40 hours of Full HD video, with up to 100MB/s transfer speeds. The 400GB SanDisk Ultra microSD card meets theA1 App Performance Class specification.

The brand has also updated the SanDisk Memory Zone app, which enables users to locate, organize, transfer and back up data, including tagged social media content.

With a  ten-year limited warranty, the 400GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card will be available at a U.S. MSRP of $249.99
