Since the original Xbox One’s launch in 2014, there has been numerous updates with the device’s own homescreen, commonly known as the dashboard. It was initially messy and cluttered, but subsequent updates (especially after shifting to Windows 10) have made it more streamlined and easier to navigate.

But members of Xbox’s Insider program (the ones who get to test pre-release software) have reported seeing a new homescreen after installing pre-release beta software. The new design lets you access your most recent games right from the first menu along with shortcuts to your favorite games which you can organize to whatever layout that you want.

Along with that, the Community and Guide tabs will also be redesigned, allowing for faster access to other functions. A detailed description of the upcoming update is discussed in the video below. The new update is likely to arrive later this year to coincide with the release of the Xbox One X.
