The Android One program is Google’s way of delivering a pure Android experience to less powerful hardware without compromising on performance. Just last week, it has announced a partnership with Xiaomi for the launch of the Mi A1 in India, and it looks like the US is about to get its first Android One smartphone through the Moto X4.

Announced earlier last week during IFA 2017, the Moto X4 looks like to retain the same hardware features as its predecessor along with its dual-cameras. One familiar new feature is the new Android One logo present at the bottom on the rear part of the device.

Specifications for the Moto X4 include a 5.2-inch display, a Snapdragon 630 CPU with 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage along with water and dust resistance. Since it’s an Android One device, expect it to run a nearly stock version of Android and a faster update cycle compared to other third party devices.

The Moto X4 will have a $400 price tag – no word yet on a Middle Eastern release.
