HMD Global has just officially announced the Nokia 8, the company’s first flagship Android device. Similar in design to the Nokia 6, the Nokia 8 features a 5.3-inch display with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. An always-on display will also be present.

Internals include a Snapdragon 835cPU along with 4 GB of RAM with 64 GB of internal storage with the option to use a microSD card slot. A special variant will come with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The best part is that it is running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat in almost a stock state.

At the back you will find dual rear cameras similar in setup to the Huawei P10 which includes a monochrome sensor in addition to the 13-megapixel sensor, the same one found in the front. Its polished aluminum design might be a fingerprint magnet, but it does look good.

No word yet on when it is coming to the Middle East, but we will update this news once the information is available.
