While we recently reported that Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s ‘See You Again’ recently beat PSY’s ‘Gangnam Style’ as YouTube’s most-watched video, there is now a new video that has beaten that record.

‘Despacito’ – the Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee collaboration, is now the first video to reach more than 3 billion views. The record is specifically for the original version of the song, not the remix that featured Justin Bieber – though that song also was the number 1 song in the US for 12 weeks. This means that the song managed to gain popularity without the help of the Biebs.

Along with that, Despacito holds the record for the most-liked YouTube video of all time, and also ranks as the tenth least-liked video.

Let’s see how long it will hold the title. Gangnam Style was number 1 for five years, while See You Again only held the title for a month.

Enjoy the video below – yes I’m still trying to unsuccessfully sing in Spanish.
