$1650 for its new Android Wear smartwatch.
TAG Heuer’s Connected was the company’s first smartwatch, and this year they’re following it up with a branded new model called the TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45. It costs a couple of hundred dollars more than the original Connected model, even if it features a smaller display.
The TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 features a 45 mm watch face with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display along with NFC, GPS, 4 GB of storage and 512 MB of RAM. It’s powered by Intel’s Z34XX chipset and is also water-resistant. It will of course run Android Wear 2.0 out of the box.
This smartwatch is also modular – meaning you can swap out parts and pieces to make it more personal for you. This not only applies on the straps but also with the lugs and buckles.
And just like their first smartwatch, you can swap out the Connected Modular 45 to a regular mechanical smartwatch at a discounted price once it gets too slow or when it is no longer supported.
Prices start at $1650 – so buying the TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 is something of a big investment.
